Ray-Ban Limited Edition Aviators Made From 18-Karat Gold

The traditional aviator frames glasses were launched in 1937 and they were originally created for the U.S. Air force pilots to protect them from the sunrays while they are flying. But as the time passes, these glasses were sold to the public and you can get a nice pair for no more than few hundred bucks. Now Ray-Ban planned to set their target higher, it’s been recently announced that they will be releasing limited-edition aviators for $3,800 USD. The frames and the arms will be embellished with real 18-karat gold and the unique lenses will be crafted from polarized crystal. Here’s Rayban’s most recent comment: ‘prestige of the new model is apparent to anyone who sees them and even so more who wear them’. He continued: ‘they are the ultimate gift of luxury with style’. $3,800 for a pair of Ray-ban glasses, do you think they are worth it?
